Mission and Independence

The World Registry of Certified Financial Educators, Traders & Institutions, Traders & Institutions is an independent, non-political body established to certify the competence and ethical conduct of financial educators worldwide. It does not act as a regulator, broker, or financial intermediary, and is unaffiliated with any commercial trading platform.

II

Governance

The Registry is administered by a Secretariat, supervised by a Board composed of nine elected fellows representing five geographic regions. The Didactic Commission validates educational standards; the Disciplinary Commission examines violations of the Code of Ethics. Mandates are renewable once and limited to three years.

III

Funding

The Registry is sustained exclusively by membership fees, certification fees, and voluntary contributions from member institutions. It does not accept commissions, revenue-share agreements, or sponsorships from brokers, exchanges, or financial product issuers. Annual accounts are audited by an independent firm and summarised in the public Annual Report.

IV

Admission Procedure

Applications are reviewed by the Didactic Commission against published criteria covering professional experience, educational background, references, and ethical record. Decisions are motivated in writing. Refused candidates may file a single reasoned appeal within sixty days.

V

Disciplinary Activity

All complaints are recorded, investigated, and adjudicated under written procedure with right of defence. Sanctions range from formal admonition to temporary suspension and definitive revocation. Aggregate disciplinary statistics are published annually; individual cases remain confidential except where revocation requires public notice.

VI

Conflicts of Interest

Members of the Board, the Didactic Commission, and the Disciplinary Commission must declare any economic, personal, or professional interest that could affect their impartiality. They abstain from any deliberation in which a conflict exists. The register of declarations is available to members upon written request.

VII

Public Records

The public directory at /albo lists every active, suspended, and revoked member with their current status. The Code of Ethics, this Transparency notice, and the Annual Report are permanent public documents. Material amendments are dated and archived to ensure historical traceability.
